Gonna get lazy tonight
The wife just called from work, she's going to be pretty late.
This means that my nightly trips to the track at midnight will take a break tonight. It's been a lot of fun. The only times I've missed is when I was either at work or unable to walk from helping a friend move all day. My calves have been so sore the past 2 days that I've walked with this very distinctive 'strut' (some have been calling it a limp, but they're not black, so they're using the wrong term).
The best part about hitting the track at midnight is that it is usually really empty. And the last couple of nights the moon has been full, which makes for just an electric feeling around the track. I've been picking up the pace a bit, with some jogging and even running at points when I've felt the muse upon me, and it's been great.
Ironically, the scale says I've been getting heavier and taking on a higher BMI?!?!!? Whatever. I've countered this by calling the scale a big fat liar!!! I'm sure I'm not the first person to take this approach, but seriously, there's no way I can be this sore and be GAINING weight at the same time.
Until tonight! I'll be sitting at home with all sorts of great tasting foods (spaghetti, chicken with creamed pasta, york patties, 3 muskies bars, ice cream, more ice cream, and even more ice cream [it was on sale]). That's gotta be good for me too right? RIGHT!?!?
I'll let you know. :)
