New Beginnings

Well, I've found new gainful employment. It's a very similar job, and at the same time vastly different. I don't get nearly as many after hour calls, which is nice. But I work an extra hour or 2 every day, which is annoying. But over all everything balances out, and I love learning new things, taking on new challenges, and putting my skills to the test.

I've got a new team of folks, which is thrilling. I love learning their strengths and weaknesses, and then trying to min-max their assignments to their skills. I've been there almost 4 months now, and things are starting to come together quite nicely. Our productivity is good, collections have been near all-time highs, denials at all time lows, and all this during some sticky times with a number of government agencies that are trying to save money by testing their hospital bills. Love it!

And it's always nice to be appreciated. Here's what my teammates did to my office for my 90-day evaluation. it turned into a pizza party.

Well, that's the new news from me (and probably the only post I'll make about the new job, I don't post about my employment very often). I don't have a lot a time to play games or post these days either, so don't hold your breath looking for the next post. Sorry about that. :(
