The Beat Goes On
You remember my favorite saying don't you? "The road of life is full of pain and joy, the former keeps us on the path to growth, and the latter makes the journey tolerable."
The past few weeks have had heapfuls of both. There have been car problems, stresses at work, kids driving us crazy at home, and very unusual sleeping patterns for the wife and myself. For someone who truely appreciates the nice boring life with no surprises, this has been difficult. At the same time our families have really come through for us when we've needed them, and we've survived the trials and tribulations with even greater strength than before. We even made the most of an opportunity for a mini vacation (which couldn't have gone better).
So why am I telling all this here without giving any details what so ever? Because I don't have the energy left to type out everything that's been going on the past couple of weeks (or even the past 3 days for that matter). But I am resolved to spend some more time in this blog, so be prepared for some more regular updates (at least for a while).
